Brief
Renny and Leon Ramakers came to me with a new concept they were working on. Having bought an abandoned vineyard in Tiana close to Barcelona the idea was to build a destination experience that was more than just about wine.
Approach
As a passion project for the two owners, and lifelong partners the new naming ‘Can Reon’ combined simply letters from their first names, while the logo - in a newly designed font - overlapped each other to show their inseparability.
Outcome
The whole concept of Wine + Food + Art + Design all in one destination is difficult to grasp for any visitor. While the vineyards are regrowing, a newly build amphitheatre is putting on music events. It sets a new standard for any wine farm in its diversity of experience.
